MyTabs ("we", "us", "our") provides a staff scheduling and communication app for healthcare teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the MyTabs mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account information (email and password via our authentication provider), profile information (name, role, department), and app content (schedules, announcements, notes, and direct messages). We may collect basic usage and diagnostic data to maintain and improve the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the app, authenticate users, enable schedules and communications, and send important notifications when enabled.

Sharing of Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, database and authentication services). We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and data.

Request account and data deletion (MyTabs)

You can request that your MyTabs account and associated data be deleted at any time.

How to request deletion:

  1. In the app: Open MyTabs → Profile → Account Settings → Delete account. Follow the confirmation steps to permanently delete your account and data.
  2. By email: If you no longer have access to the app, email us at contact@mytabs.dev with the subject line “Account deletion request” and the email address used for your MyTabs account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What we delete: When your account is deleted, we remove your account credentials, profile (name, email, role, department link), and your app content (schedules you were assigned to, notes you wrote, direct messages you sent or received, and similar data tied to your account).

What we may keep: We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you, and any information we are required to keep by law (for example for tax or legal claims). We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for these purposes.

Retention after request: Deletion is processed within 30 days of your request. Backups may hold a copy for a short additional period (e.g. up to 90 days) before being overwritten; during that time your data is not used for any purpose.

Your Choices

You can update your profile information in the app, manage notification preferences in device settings, and request account deletion by contacting us.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

MyTabs is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.
